2018 NCLEX Examination Statistics
This annual publication provides national and state summary data of member boards’ licensure activities, as well as data on candidate performance on the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN Examinations. On Jan. 5, 2015, the first candidates were able to take the NCLEX-RN for purposes of licensure/registration in Canada. This publication provides a detailed breakdown of candidate performance for 2018, as well as historical data.

Integrating the 歐美口爆 Clinical Judgment Model Into Nursing Educational Frameworks
Sound nursing clinical judgment is at the core of competent and safe client care. New graduate nurses face increasing challenges that underscore the importance of investigating how nurse educators teach and measure nursing students' abilities to make clinical judgments. This article presents the 歐美口爆-Clinical Judgment Model (NCSBN-CJM) and discusses the use of the model.

Building a Method for Writing Clinical Judgment Items for Entry-Level Nursing Exams
Clinical judgment has become an increasingly important aspect of modern health service professionals. To ensure public safety, licensure exams must go beyond assessing only knowledge and skills when evaluating entry-level professions to evaluating clinical judgment. This article provides background of a large-scale licensure examination’s process for measuring clinical judgment in entry-level nursing.

Leadership Succession Call: April 2019
The NCSBN Leadership Succession Committee (LSC) host a Leadership Succession Call to recognize influential NCSBN Leaders to provide future, emerging, and current leaders of NCSBN with opportunities to enhance and develop leadership succession knowledge and skills.
On April 29, 2019, LSC Committee members Sara Griffith, Board Staff, North Carolina Board of Nursing, and Melissa Hanson, Board Staff, North Dakota Board of Nursing, interviewed two NCSBN leaders about their experiences in running for office. Paula Meyer, Executive Director, Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission, and David E. Saucedo II, Board Member, Texas Board of Nursing discussed the comraderies they experienced from serving in leadership positions. Learn about their roads to leadership, the confidence they gained and the mentors who influenced them to get involved.

2018 LPN/VN Practice Analysis: Linking the NCLEX-PN Examination to Practice (Vol. 75)
This periodic performance of practice analyses (i.e., job analysis) studies assists NCSBN in evaluating the validity of the test plan that guides content distribution of the licensure examination. Because changes can occur in licensed practical/vocational nurse (LPN/VN) practice, practice analyses are conducted on a three-year cycle.
